Your grand entrance down the aisle is one of the most special (and most photographed!) moments during your wedding ceremony. Not to mention, you’re actually going to make that trip twice—with the second being when you exit as a newlywed, of course. So, basically, wedding aisle decor is something that you want to think about.
And just because you want to do something with it, doesn’t mean it has to be extravagant. In fact, as we searched through real weddings on Brides.com, we found that we were especially drawn to the simple set-ups. Think bundles or greenery, romantic candles, rustic lanterns and more. Also, no matter what you’re thinking, there are a few things to remember! For one, you want your wedding aisle decor to match your setting, not take a way from it. You also want to make sure it complements your wedding day look as you’re going to be photographed going up and down that aisle, not to mention exchanging vows at the end of it.
But beyond all that, your wedding aisle decor is really up to you. And just in case you’re at a loss for what to do—there are so many decisions to be made, after all!—we have a few ideas for you. If you’re all about being on trend, we love the idea of creating a statement at the entrance of the aisle with cactus plants in pots. We’re also into the idea of an aisle lined with colorful Persian rugs if you’re all about the whole boho thing. But if you’re after more classic wedding aisle decorations, we have inspo for you too! Below, you’ll find a number of statement displays—like a flower-petal lined aisle with ghost chairs, a romantic ceremony setting created with white blooms planted in the ground, and a gorgeous white runner.
